Relationships at all major area hospitals and medical centers

As much as we believe in the importance of wellness, we know there are times that a health condition calls for resources beyond what our primary care practice provides. If during a sick or urgent care visit it becomes apparent that hospital admission is the wise course of treatment, we can admit you to any of the following institutions as suits your preference and condition:

• •  or any other Massachusetts medical center

The role of the hospitalist

Because we have relationships with the hospitalists at these institutions, the physician who attends to you once you are admitted will have a current and complete understanding of your medical history and condition. This is yet another reason we utilize electronic medical records: in order to provide a complete picture to whatever health care provider you need to see, in the hospital or a referral to a specialist. It's private, it's comprehensive, and it helps ensure the most comprehensive record of any care you receive, anywhere.

As you are cared for, our office will be in contact with the hospitalists and staff of the institution to be sure that we stay up-to-date with developments. And the next time you come in for a well visit, we will discuss with you in detail everything that happened, to answer any questions you have and to plan for your continued wellness into the future.
